(OMAHA, Neb. – April 18, 2008) – Today, the NCAA and CWS Inc. issued a joint statement:  "The NCAA and College World Series of Omaha Inc. have reached an agreement on a memorandum of understanding. This memorandum of understanding meets the April 30, 2008, negotiation deadline and will be signed by NCAA officials in the near future. This agreement paves the way for a final agreement to be reached by this year's men's College World Series."
